Caffè Sicilia’s Orange Marmalade is for the bitter orange lover. It's from incredibly fragrant Sicilian oranges and has a lovely color, marbled with chunks of real fruit and flecks of rind that give it a pleasantly rustic mouthfeel. This Sicilian Orange Marmalade is made by pastry chef Corrado Assenza in his Caffè Sicilia, a traditional Sicilian pasticceria in Noto.
This marmalade is mostly fruit! With a sweet, fresh citrus flavor, you can enjoy the essence of real Sicilian oranges on toast, pastries, cheeses, as a filling for a traditional Italian crostata, or as a topping for cakes or cookies. The oranges used for this marmalade are grown locally in Sicily and transformed by master pastry chef Corrado Assenza in Noto. He insists on using the best ingredients he can find from local farms for his line of marmalades, nuts and sweets, all produced by hand in the shop’s kitchen. He is legendary, a genius of Sicilian sweets.
