Before anything else, the Testas are fishmongers. From October to March, Futura Prima and Atlante sail the Sicilian seas searching for schools of sgombri, anchovies, sugarelli, and bluefin tuna. The Testa family has been steering its boats through the Mediterranean Sea since the 17th Century. It's a storied tradition built upon centuries of hard work and resilience, with each new generation refining the already extensive expertise of the previous one. Over this time, their fishing activity has evolved from sailing old-style wooden ships to the most efficient modern vessels.
