I haven’t read all the tributes to Marcella that followed her death on the last Sunday morning of September 2013. On that day the New York Times published a front page obituary and it was followed by articles and public reminiscences around the world. Ruth Reichl’s piece, to which I am posting a link, was, in Ruth’s style, true to Marcella and unsentimental. If you are a fan, you will enjoy reading it. I did. Victor.
