Have you been feeling panicked about Bucatini? Over the past 24 hours, we’ve been fielding calls, emails and texts from so many of you alarmed and agitated over the Totally Bizarre Bucatini Shortage of 2020.
We’re here to quell your fears and provide some reassurance in the form of Bucatini Faella. That’s right, Gustiamo is headed into the New Year fully stocked with Bucatini.
In Gragnano, just south of Naples, pasta maker Sergio Faella is impressed by our love and devotion to this pasta shape. Sergio’s Bucatini are made with 100% Italian wheat, extruded through bronze dies, and dried for at least two days. They’ve got the perfect bite and that signature rough texture.
Oh, and in case you’re seriously worried about the alleged Bucatini shortage (or just really into Bucatini), Bucatini Faella also come in BIG 5 lb bags. These are limited to 1 per person though, because shortage or not, nobody needs more than 5 lbs of Bucatini at a time!
